Community Support
AJE is continuing its community engagement by supporting a number of events which are taking place over the next few months.
The first big summer event that the AJE team will lend a hand to is the Forres Highland Games which will take place on July 6. AJE takes sponsorship of the Throwing the Scots hammer event, but also helps with the set up and take down by lending machinery to help move crucial items such as crowd control barriers and other equipment around the site.
For the first time, AJE has taken sponsorship of the Nairn Show which will be held at Davidson Park, just outside Nairn on July 27 and it’s also a sponsor of the one off Grant Park 100 event which is being held in Forres on August 24, to mark 100 years since Sir Alexander Grant gifted the park to the town. Then in September, it has thrown its weight behind the inaugural Kinloss Running Festival, taking place within the Kinloss Barracks Training Area from 31 August to 1 September. The festival will involve 450 runners participating in their choice of a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon or Back Yard Ultra.
